I put on a whole flowmaster setup less than a year ago but over the past few months its just been getting louder and more obnoxious, almost as if the muffler wasn't even there. Has this happened to many others? Can I just pop on a different muffler (Borla or whatever)?

 

They break in and get a little louder. Which flowmaster is it?

 

Check for exhaust leaks. I had mine on my truck rust through at the seams but that was after 3 years.

X2 on the series. Some of them are quite a bit louder than others.

 

haha yeah my super 10 with no resonator is just a slightly refined version of "no exhaust" lol

 

I've had a few exhaust leaks which were taken care of. It sounds like its leaking up in the manifold. Gonna have a guy look at it next week to get his opinion. Wasn't sure if others had the same kind of probs with FM systems. Honestly, don't remember what kind it was.
