Default Rubicon express 2.5 inch lift issues

So I put my rubicon express 2.5 inch coil lift on yesterday and the car seems to sit very uneven to me. The back sits about 1.5 inches lower than the front..I have stock front and rear bumpers with teraflex hinge carrier so the weight shouldn't be an issue. Kind of annoyed, but maybe someone could shed some light if this is normal or not.

Normal IMO, I think they anticipate that most will install an aftermarket bumper and winch, which would bring the front end back down. Try putting about 100 lb or so on the front bumper (like a winch + bumper) an see if it comes back down.

How much did the front of the Jeep lift up, and how much did the rear lift?

If your rear did not lift much at all, then you MAY have got a bad batch. A .5"-1.5" Difference is normal, as long as the rear is still ~2.5" lifted.

x2, on it being normal. Usually most manufacturers advertise the lift height based on the front. In most cases the actual lift will be as advertised or 1/2" taller in the front whereas the back is usually 1" lower just to have that leveled look to eliminate the factory rake.

Also, as previously mentioned, taller in the front to compensate when you add a heavy aftermarket bumper/winch.

Honestly I didn't measure before and after. A bumper/winch will be put on as one of my next mods as well. I called rubicon express yesterday and they sent me out one of their 3/4 inch spacers free of charge so I'm glad they were willing to work with me. I'm going to have someone sit on my front end and take a picture. Does it look bad? To me its a pretty big difference. Also how could I tell if I got a bad batch?

you should give it time to settle in also, it will be high at first but once it gets settled in it will be level, you'll be fine, I've been thru this with other Jeeps so it's normal from my experiences

It's great they worked with you. RE has been a good company recently.

The best way to tell if you got a bad batch in the rear, is to take measurements of the rear spring itself out of the Jeep. That's what we've had to do with Rough Country when they had a bad batch go off their line. I know multiple people that got sagging springs, and everyone that emailed them with pictures got new springs. That was a couple years ago though.

I don't think it looks "bad", just different. In the end, it's all a matter of how you like it.

Keep in mind that if you add the 3/4" spacers your axles may not be centered anymore and may cause your aftermarket rear swaybar links to rub the inner tire. At least thats what happened to me when I added 1/2" spacers. I had to purchase an adj rear track bar to center my axles again...

Ugh!! I may just sell the kit then, it really bothers me how much lower the rear is. It wouldn't have bother me if the front was lower than the rear though.

I don't think it looks bad, if your adding a bumper do like was said and throw a hundred pounds on the front. I'm planning to ordering the same kit this week.
