What do you guys think...? Is this a bad spot all the way through the sidewall? Its a little nipple on one of the sidewall lugs and its pretty soft feeling. I already had a tire blow out on me within 2 weeks of having these on. Discount tire direct told me I must have hit a road hazard the first time and was the same deal...soft spot where it happened. I didn't recall hitting anything as I was only on pavement prior to the first one blowing out. Am I going to be sitting on 4 flats the first trail I hop on this summer in the blackhills? This is starting to piss me off. Pics below.

Return them and get another brand. I have seen a few sidewalls on Goodyear wranglers blow out, mainly duratrac but also a couple of MTR. Like someone opened a zipper on the side of the tire.

When I was tire shopping I was considering these, went to the local owned shop, owner said he COULD get them but if I wanted them I'd have to go somewhere else because he won't sell them to anyone. Informed me that in his opinion they were s huge failure and a waste of money. So I second the idea to trade em out for a different brand. I love my cooper stts

My best friend had bad luck with MTRs. Punctured sidewall on first outing from running over a pallet someone left on the trail.

I got this rip two weeks ago and I was on the highway. Didn't buy the warranty for the MT/R but Discount Tire prorated the tire so I only had to pay $50 to replace it.

I've got these tires. I've only had them for about 3 weeks and 900 miles but no problems so far. I hope it stays that way but if not I have a warranty on them.
