Default Hydro assist fluid type?

I'm changing a hose on my redneck ram hydro assist system tomorrow and I don't know what type of fluid was originally used in it. Will it hurt to mix and match, or is there something specific to redneck rams system?

I'm running the RedNeck Ram and Matt at West Texas Offroad did the install. His shop put power steering fluid in the system instead of the ATF that Chrysler uses. When I had to top off the reservoir, I added more power steering fluid. I'm not sure if you have an O'Reilly Auto Parts store in your area, but I'm using what Matt put in my JKU. Thanks. Talked to the guy that had my jeep before and that's what he recommended too.

Power steering fluid and transmission fluid is basically the same thing and Mechanics have been doing that for years
