Default Old Man Emu Lift

Does anyone know if the Old Man Emu lift will give you significant lift on a Rubicon?? I read the new writeup for installing this lift and it was installed on an X which I know has about an inch less ground clearance than the Rubicon. Any insight to this would be helpful. I have a friend who had the Old Man Emu lift on his Cherokee and absolutely loves it. He says the ride is excellent!

Thanks rdrubi. I sent you a reply. That was some significant boost! Are there any rubbing or other issues with this lift??

Alright... hope I did this correctly. Too lazy right now to actually read the directions on how to post photos.

The only reason a Rubi sits higher than an X is the wheel/tire combo. If you look at Jeep specs there is only about 1/4 inch different.

x2. You'd gain just as much height at the X. And since that X had larger tires....

Here you go:

Before the lift

After the lift (stock tires)

After the lift (w/35s) Some of the same spots as the trip when it was stock

That doesn't look bad at all. I have a set of 35" SSRs in the garage and am not quite sure I want to run a 14.5" wide tire. I do want to go ahead and lift it, so I was concerned about the OME with stock 32", but it actually is an improvement.

Any complaints/concerns with the overall lift or installation? Did you get new trackbars?

Thanks.
