Got a wollered out mount for track bar, I know I need to put in 9/16 grade 8, but coarse or fine thread???? Locking nut help?? What torque?? 140???

Weld grade 8 washers over the front and rear of the brackets to cover the ovaled out bracket holes. An exhaust shop might charge 1 hour labor to do it for you.

You want fine thread, grade 8 bolts and nuts. You don't want a nylock locknut. You want a stover locknut, or you want to use a lock washer with a regular nut.

Fine thread holds the torque spec better. Nylock locknuts don't give as accurate torque specs.

The torque spec is 125 ft lbs.

Ya just got out first bolt and holy crap! Why in the hell would jeep even put that size in there! The hole in bracket wasn't stretched out like I thought but there is so much play with the stock bolt. Now I can see why DW happens

Got both bolts swapped a week ago and so far no DW! Been hitting RR tracks that would always set it off and nothing! Thanks for ur help
