Greetings all,

I have an 07 JK Rubicon. I have a manual transmission. Is the automatic transmission cooling provision in my Jeep, sitting there unused? Or is there no provision for an automatic transmission cooler since I have a manual transmission.

The reason I ask is; I am in need of a power steering cooler and I am hoping not to have to put another radiator in front of my engine coolant radiator. I was thinking that if I have the same parts as a JK with an automatic transmission, perhaps the tranny cooler is just sitting there unused. I know that often manufacturers just use the same parts for manual and automatic transmissions and thought maybe the unused cooling capacity might just be sitting there un-tapped.

Anybody have the answer to that before I buy something else to cool my power steering?
