I called the deader and asked what gears I have. Well they didn't seam like they had a clue what was going on. Is there any way to check for myself.

Calling jeep with the VIN is probably the best way. However, I have read on here that you can jack ip both back wheel and count the number of rotations of your wheels and compare to the number of rotations of your drive shaft. Maybe someone that knows details will post here.

Jack a front tire off the ground.
Rotate it by hand 2 revolutions, while counting the drive shaft turns.

If the drive shaft turns about 3¼ turns, you have 3.21 gears.
If the drive shaft turns about 3
¾ turns, you have 3.73 gears.

Go here and register your jeep on the Owner's Center

https://www.moparownerconnect.com/oc...nersLogin.aspx

Create an account and it will provide you with the window sticker off your jeep along with various other informations such as recalls and service interval info...pretty cool and its free
