Default 345 75r16 km2 vs 315 75r16 MTR

Just as the subject says, what's y'all's view on the tires and if I can se pics that be great. I know km2 run small so this should give me a little bigger than a true 35, how do you think the 13" wide will effect things? As for the MTR there my second choice I know there pretty close to a true 35 how well do they perform compared to the KM2. Also pics would be great

KM2's has an extra inch in tread width... that will come in handy off road. I have had customers say the km2 has less road noise than the MTR for sure.

Yeah I think I will be ok, I just don't want to damage anything and 16x8 wheel with a 13 wide tire seem pushing it. The 345 are hard to come by everywhere i have seen are sold out. Does anyone know anything about pit bull tires?

Pitbulls are a nice tire. Much more aggressive and used by more hardcore off-road guys I know. Most are running 40's and bigger. They will be very loud on street compared to similar designed tires.

The problem you have running a 16" wheel is that there is not a lot of selection in the 37" tire space. As you are finding, those that make them are out of stock. IROK makes a bunch in the 16" wheel size but you will see many more options and better availability if you move to a 17" wheel.

That's the thing I'm wanting to stay at a 35 but I want a true 35 or as close as I can get. Until I snap my Dana 30 and get a PR 44 or RJ 60 I won't go any bigger.

I know the km2 I listed is according to BFG at 37 but with them running small it's close to a true 35.

Think you had another thread asking about true 35's...right?

Toyo M/T, Nitto T/G, MTR's are all pretty much on the larger side of the 35's. Some people have balancing issues with MTR's. The Nittos are way overpriced right now. The Toyos balance easily, are priced awesome (about $280 a tire for 315/75/16) but they are heavy (as are the Nittos). Mounted on my 16" black rock steelies, they weight about 117 pounds each. But tough as hell and are quiet, ride great and performa awesome offroad.

the Nittos and MTR's are also great on and off-road so you have to weight the pros and cons of each (price vs balancing issues vs weight vs....)

There are a few others that fall under a true 35 but the above seem to be the most widely used.

I love my Toyos. I moved to them from the 35" Maxxis Bighorns which run about the same size as the KM2's. The Toyos are noticeably bigger and I gained close to an inch in height over the Bighorns....

edit** A buddy of mine ran the 37" KM2's (on a 17" wheel) and he said they measured about 35.5". That helped explain why my Toyos didn't look that much smaller than his 37's.
