Default wheel spacers and aftermarket wheels

anybody running wheel spacers with their aftermarket wheels that have 5" or less of backspacing? I am looking to get a little more of a wider stance and have aftermarket wheels with about 5" of backspacing. Just wanted to know if this would be an ok idea or if it would cause any major problems...

Should be fine. All the spacer will be achieving is a larger backspacing (smaller #) so it is no different than having a wheel with different backspacing. That being said, more leverage = more wear.

I would highly reccomend adding gussets to your axle 'C's if you haven't already, and if you want to go the extra mile get axle tube sleeves. Besides that you'll be fine.

I have 4.5" backspacing, 1.5" wheel spacers, gussets and have had no issues. I like the wider stance.

Yes, gussets are definitely in the plan soon, regardless if I slap on some wheel spacers. How long have you been running this setup?

Any pics of your setup? I'd love to see the stance.

Here is a shot of my KMC XD Misfits 5"BS with Spidertrax 1.5" wheel spacers. It was more than I needed for my mall crawler, but boy did it look sick.
