Default Gobi Rack gripes and compliments and Rugged Ridge snorkel.

So, I purchased and installed a Gobi ranger rack several years ago. Just recently I installed a rugged ridge snorkel, benchmark designs dual battery tray (it had been sitting around since purchased-I was one of the first to jump on it. Yeah. That long.) and the smittybilt xrc front armor. Did it all in one big project. It all fit together mostly fantastic. The armor needed to be trimmed for the snorkel. No big deal. I love it all.

My complaints. The gobi rack when I got it had rub marks through the powder coat. Brand new and the pawder is missing. Not covered by warranty. The wind deflector bolts left some very nice dents in the top of the windshield frame. W T F ? ! ? ! Not a happy camper. In any event, I ordered the Gobi adapter for the high snorkel. Is showed up. I had to grind out some of the surface closest to the windshield frame simply because it wouldn't fit. I understand every install different and not all jeeps fit together perfect, but I still expect things to fit better than they have.

I love my gobi rack other than the things I have mentioned. It will hold absurd amounts of weight and has lots of spots to mount lights and antennas. I also am a huge fan of the ladders. I have one on both sides.

Has anyone had any of the issues I have with Gobi?

Thanks.
