pros & cons of coil lift spacers?
Want a solid 3 inch of lift. Ive seen coil spacers all the way up to 3 inches. Should I just go with brand new 3 inch lift coils?
Whats the bad on just using spacers for a lift?
I keep hearing mixed reviews on them

Spacers are a cheap, easy way to get lift. If your serious about off-roading, go with a true coil lift, especially at 3". To me, the best use of spacers is to get an extra inch or level out the front after a heavy bumper/winch.
That might be OK if you don't really wheel it or care how it handles. I have 2 1/2 in front and 2" in the rear (spacers) and it wheels decent but I'm not happy on road. That's mainly because I don't have all of the stuff that should go with a 2 1/2" lift kit. https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/modi...bie-has-18617/

They do just as advertised, add 3" of lift. I don't see any cons with them. If people are having issues with them I would bet they don't have the rest of their suspension set up correctly. You should get the same ride as stock if everything is set up right.
That is false.
It does not matter if you are adding a 3" puck or a 3" spring. Both are going to wreck the geometry of both the suspension and the steering. They will not be at all in the factory specs.

A proper/complete spacer lift should have ALL the same components of a spring lift of the same height. I.e. TeraFlex 2.5" BB. With that being said a complete BB will ride exactly the same as stock only higher.
I just lost an 1½ of lift (small amounts of forward rake) with my winch/bumper mount. All logical suggestions welcome. Thanks for the help.
