Default Rubicin swaybar disconnects

Ok so I've had my lift on for a year now. I recently went wheeling and my swaybar wouldn't disconnect. Push the button in cab and light just flashes...now on hiway it will flash for a few times then goes away. Tried several times to engage and disengage to reset maybe...but no luck...this has me a little worried...any suggestions for my rubicon to make it work correctly again

Try cleaning out the plug on it. Outside of that I doubt you'll get it working right again but there are options like the Evo disconnect.

No not stock...3.5" RC lift..1 1/4" wheel spacers stock wheels...has worked well for past year on and off road. Just having a hard time disconnecting or reconnecting...checked plug on swaybar disconnect motor all good...rocked front end left and right to see if geometry might have something to do w/ it but no luck yet...checked fuse...all good...just seeing if I'm the only one experiencing this issue

The first time mine acted up we disconnected the battery and the system reset took care of it.

But, I have since gone to the JKS manual cable setup and I am very pleased.

I did the same, diconnected the battery. Guys were getting tired of waiting up for me, so went with the Evo and procal
(for the dash light). All worked out with getting the bigger tires an all.

Sounds like typical electric disco motor fail, mine did the same when it went.

After some reading it could be the internals are dirty and need re-greasing. Remove the sway bar and motor, split the motor apart and regrease.

Mine didn't fail but I replaced it with an Evo No Limits Disco just incase, figuring it will fail on me eventually.

Mine failed on my 2010 at around 50,000 km. It was still under warranty, so the dealer just replaced it ($3300). If/when it goes again, I'm getting the manual cable set-up.

This is a great idea. Where do you place the handle? Does the dashboard or somewhere else in the cabin has a good location or it requires drilling?
