Default Bil 5100s vs AEV 2.5 Bil 5100s

Has anyone had a chance to compare the 5100s that come in the AEV kit compared to off the shelf 5100s?

I've been able to compare 5160s vs 5100s off the shelf versions (5160s are stiffer), but anyone has exp with both versions of 5100s?

My buddy just installed this kit with the aev specs 2.5 lift. I'll go for a ride and let you know. I was thinking they might be softer than the off the shelf 5100s, could be wrong. Call Dave at northridge, I bet he knows

The ones from AEV ones are valved to work specifically their spring rates. Im installing the kit this weekend. I will know better then but I have the yellow body ones now and they stiffer than stock shocks.

random fyi, but I think I remember reading a couple threads about issues with the AEV Bilsteins. Something about leakage problems...can't seem to find it now. Just thought I'd throw it out there
