Default Amsoil 75W-140 or 75W-90

What should I be putting in the rear and front of my Rubi? Lots of mountain, towing a light boat (~1000lbs) and some off-road.

I was thinking 75w-90 will be enough, your thoughts?

Much appreciated.

Bought Severe Service 75W90 for the front, and Severe Service 75W-110 for the rear, considering I will not tow more than 1000lbs.

first thing you need is 2 addatives from the dealer. one for the front one for the rear. It is for your locking axles then I went with mobil1 75w-140.

Talking

If you have an LSD...and it says to use LSD additive...use less than it says if you want a harder hook-up/less slip...the additive makes it slip MORE (To avoid chatter, etc...)

Some people added MORE additive, thinking hmmm, more LSD additive will make the LSD grip harder...

But, no...its the opposite...LESS additive makes it grip harder (Increases the break-a-way torque)

Food for thought if you want more grip.

I bought some additive as well, good point on not adding too much.

Why go with Spam Oil when you can go with Mobil1 . . .

If you want to get some bling oil, go with Royal Purple etc. . . .

Do you still need the LSD additive with synthetics?
