Default 35" tires with a side of superchips

I'm getting new 35's and have a superchip programmer set at performance mode. I wondering if I need to buy the transmission upgrade mode? I worried the transmission would shift looking for gears. Anyone have thoughts. FYI 08 jku, auto, 3.73, 3" lift.

The main thing is to calibrate the tire size correctly. It is what will correct the shift points. You may find keeping the overdrive off will help with your 3.73's.

It does allow more fine tuning, but can be somewhat tedious. It will allow you to change the shift points, whereas calibrating only brings shifting back to stock settings.

Still has good take off and highway performance is still good. Only drawback is the mileage went down 1 mpg. Had 265/70r17 before. These tires are quiet and gave me a soft ride. Went to the beach and they ate it up. As for being unique, thats why we buy them. To make them our own. Thanks.
