4dr coils in a 2dr?
I have a 2.5" TF BB in my 2dr. I've heard that by replacing stock factory 2dr coils with stock factory 4dr coils, a 2dr can get more lift.... Is that the case? Anyone running a set up like that?
You'll have to check the spring weights on the springs. Depends what you have now and what you're going to. It's the last two numbers on the paper tag on the springs. Fronts range 13-19, rears 54-60 I believe. You'll want to look for at least a pair of 18/58 to really see much difference.
Springs with higher numbers give a bit more lift. The amount of lift is not very predictable but you can be sure the Jeep won't sit any lower
Most important, the higher numbered springs make the ride and handling much more positive. Stock sport springs and shocks are pretty mushy.
To get the most from the swap, upgrade the shocks to at least stock Rubicon shocks. The larger shocks will match the new springs much better. The shocks are often available with the springs. Just keep an eye out here.

I replaced my stock 14/55 springs for JKUR 18/59 springs and gained 2" in front and 1 1/4" in the rear. I also installed the red Rubi shocks. The ride is firm without being harsh and the ends don't dip as bad under acceleration or braking. For $100 it is a must do for those not wanting to do an aftermarket spring lift or a BB.

Actually quite a few people has done it, myself included. You may want to do a search since there are a lot of threads already on the topic. As already pointed out, depending on what you have, you may get up to a couple of inches if you go to the longest/stiffest ones.
