Help with lift/control arms Q's
Ok so I'm only 17 and I'm kind of teaching myself all of this along the way and was looking for some advice. I am currently running a 4" Rough Country lift (I know not the greatest) with 35" MT ATZs. I am moving up to larger tires soon and want to extend my wheel base along with improving the comfort of the ride. Would you guys recommend just getting just adjustable lower rear control arms or would I need uppers as well to fix the pinion angle? Or is it best to go with all 8 arms at once? My third choice would be getting a long arm upgrade (most likely a y-link with radius arms)? I understand almost any of these choices will require new driveshafts however would I need both or just one specifically? I know everybodies opinions are different so I just want some friendly advice as to what is a preferred method.
More information: moving up to 38x13.5x20 toyo mt's, axles and gears reinforcements have been taken care of, and lastly I have flat flares so I already have enough room for the tires.
Sorry for the long post and thanks in advance for any help!

Nthinuf,
Thanks for all the replies! I appreciate the advice. Although everybody gives rough country a bad rep, my uncle is a dealer for them and I have been pretty happy with their set-up for what I do. And their long arm upgrade is roughly the same cost as 8 arms so I'll probably go that route.

not a fan of radius arm as they tend to bind and limit travel but there's lots of arguments on both sides about this, just my opinion based on what I've test driven and seen 1st hand.
Don't have any experience with MetalCloak but their joint looks interesting, haven't seen enough info on them for the long term.
If you can afford all arms get them, if not this may help:
The upper rear arms are used to adjust the pinion angle of the rear axle when you add an aftermarket driveshaft
The lower rear arms are used to lengthen your wheel base that is lost when you lift your rig.
The front lower arms are used to either regain lost wheel base from a lift or to adjust the angle of the front axle for correct caster alignment, or both.
The front upper arms are used to adjust the angle of the front axle for correct caster alignment specs if the front lower arms were used to regain wheel base.
looks like you have 4dr so front driveshaft will be a must with the tires you plan. Rear may be ok for a while, depends on how you wheel it...
