Who has truetracs front and rear????
Well I decided against installing my brand new Yukon Grizzly locker and bought a Read detroit true trac instead. I figured since this is my Daily Driver IE 15,000miles a year with maybe 3 or 4 wheeling trips in that time frame as well as 5 months of possible snow and ice that a rear auto locker was not a good item for a DD. am I going to regret going truetracs front and rear?? are they a noticeable improvement over open/open diffs? does the brake locking diff help with keeping traction on the truetracs? How capable is my JKU going to be?
I am really trying to be realistic with my build in the fact that this is my daily driver, that most of my offroad trips are wooded trails with mud and hillclimbs ect. very little rocks. also that I see ALOT of pavement and winter.

I put in front and rear True Tracs when I regeared back in Feb so only three months with them so far in the JK, but had them in my previous vehicle also, so I've been running this set up for about 5 years total.
Operation is seamless and mostly unnoticeable, if you didn't know they were there you'd never notice at all
It's vastly superior to open/open, not a locker but if your not constantly hanging a wheel in the air you be pleased with them
The TT and BDL compliment each other and work very well together, and the BDL helps with the hanging one wheel in the air situation as long as you don't give it too much skinny pedal.
My wheeling is pretty much the same as yours, mostly forest trails, old logging roads, mud, and some rock pretty much everything you find in TN, I'd call myself an aggressive medium wheeler, want some challenge but don't want to bash it till it breaks kinda guy. This setup serves me well and I have no regrets at all in choosing it.
