Default Spiderweb shadecage in rain and dust?

Getting ready to pull the trigger on a shade cage for my 2 door and wondering how they do in the rain? I know it is mesh and I will get wet but does it keep some of the rain off? Also I run a lot of old dusty fire roads and with the top off I think I get more dust inside the jeep then out. Will the spider web block/cut down on the inside dust?
Any input is appreciated

It will not really help either... It helps with the sun and that's about it. Large rain drops turn into more or a splattering of smaller ones. It i no way lessens the amount of water coming in. I don't think it has any effect on dust, better or worse. I have found that most dust comes in by wrapping around the back of the Jeep and actually comes in the back window... (Most). Keeping it closed will help some. (But then the top isn't down)

Yeah that's kinda what I thought. Hoping it would help with the dust a bit, but the main reason for it will be to help keep the sun off the little one. That's what I'm telling the wife anyway
