Default Steel vs ABS Plastic hood

My father is looking to get a hood for his 13 JKU. He found a steel(AEV) and ABS(truck master) plastic hood. I found that the ABS is about 30lbs lighter...as expected. Any real world input on either of these? I think he likes the cowl of the ABS, but really worried about the plastic construction. Oh and he doesn't want to do hood louvers, so that's a no go.

I know the good thing about the plastic besides the weight savings, is that it doesn't hold as much heat.

Not to make your choice any more difficult, but we have a fiberglass hood on the market which only weighs 25 pounds:

Never even seen this hood?Good looking hood, so sell me on the fiberglass design. Warranty? Also does it work if the jeep has a Ripp S/C? Any other pros/cons?
