Default Loose steering??? Help

I have a 2012 JKU on 35s with a RC 3.5" lift with dual RC stabilizers and my jeep has a lot of play in the steering wheel, it is pretty hard to keep the jeep in one lane. The steering feels like it has no power to it at all, how loose it feels.

How can I fix this, some people have told me to do the Drag Link Flip Kit but I want to know 100% if that is going to fix it because its $450

What should I do any new suggestions or advice?

Get a set of Geometry Correcting Brackets from RC or AEV. Or a set of adjustable control arms.

My Jeep was flighty, then i installed some RC Geometry Correcting Brackets and they helped a ton. It tracks straight when i take both hands off steering wheel.

Drag Link Flip kit would be worth saving up for if you plan on staying lifted for several years.

I got RC's Brackets for now, and in a couple years I'll save up enough for all 8 adj control arms (maybe. These things have worked great so far.)

Yes I do plan I staying lifted for years to come so if I get the drag link flip kit would I need the geometry correcting brackets? Also how hard is installation for them?

There is no one singular fix. Control arms or brackets help. Flip kit helps too. Together, is best.

They all work in concert together. Plan on saving up for all of the above. Each step will get you closer to driving bliss.

I get the budget thing. It's why my JK almost looks like a roller skate with 3.5" of lift and small 33" tires.

Sent from some string and a few tin cans.

Which control arms should I look at.

I want to do everything a little at a time so eventually it will be the way I like it

i have the 4 inch rc lift with the dual ss. i had real bad flighty steering and i took it into a local shop and the shocks that i had were for a 6 inch lift so they were shot also my tie rod was shot as well. rc replaced the shocks and i replaced the tie rod and no more flighty steering. i since then replaced the track bar with a teraflex track bar and put in nitro axle sleeves. and my jeep is 100% better. might not be your problem but that was mine hopefully it helps you a little. i know i need adj control arms and thats the next purchase when the wife lets me lol

Ya I just replaced my tie rod and my tereflex track bar with another one because my local shop said it was time for a new one but all it looks like is a bad bushing. And my local shop probably would have noticed that my shocks are 6 inch lifts. But it's something to look into,

Thanks for your help

This sounds crazy but mine was extremely flighty too. I dropped the tire pressure down from 34 to 31 and it helped a lot. Give it a shot. Some guys run even lower than that

Ya I just checked and I'm at a little under 30 on every tire so that's not the problem
