Default Welding Help?

Not sure if this is the right place for this, but does anyone know of somewhere I can get C gussets welded in near northern VA? Really want to beef the 30 up and not trying to get swindled on price. Thanks.

Generally the going shop rate is $100/hr.

You might be better off finding a jeeper local to you for a better deal, it's only an hour or so of work, but you have to take care to keep the ball joints cool (adding more time). If you were local I'd offer to do it for you for about $50-$75

If you look on Wayalife's Youtube channel, there is a video of Mel/Evo sleeving and gusseting an axle. In the video, he says to first spot weld the gusset in place, and then to only weld 1 inch at a time. As in weld an inch, let it all cool down. Weld another inch, let it cool down. Repeat ...
