Default Teraflex 2.5 Coil Lift Issue

I installed the Teraflex 2.5 coil lift with shock extensions over the weekend. Now I am getting pop and rattle from the rear end. I am thinking it is that stupid frame side rear track bar bracket that the template never lines up right for. My question is this: if I go to an adjustable rear track bar, are the factory mounts used? Or can I get the Teraflex axle side track bar bracket and remove the frame side bracket and use the factory track bar and frame mount point? Urrrgh.

I used factory mounts when I had the TF 2.5" lift. I did both front and rear adjustable. Both mounted to stock mounts.

If you're going to run the TeraFlex Adjustable Trackbar, you use the stock bracket. The relocation bracket will put the Teraflex Track bar on a bind and cause it to interfere with the Jeep's flex. I would recommend getting the actual track bar over the brackets. that way, if you decide to upgrade or change the lift kit, you can do that and adjust accordingly.

Hope this helps, feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

I ordered that same kit, foreseeing that the frame side bracket causes problems I just ordered the axel side bracket also. For me this was the better option than getting a new adjustable rear track bar since I have no plans of going higher than 2.5" for my DD.

Also I am putting everything on this Sunday, I can let you know if I have any problems with the axel side track bar. From what I've read though there hasn't been any issues with it.

I know! Mine didn't line up either and I ended up elongating the small 3/8" hole. TeraFlex, what's up with this?!?

If your running stock wheels with longer rear sway bar links, The ends of the links will hit your tires.

check your rear passenger side coil. it might be making contact with the track bar. you can fix this with coil wedges if it's the problem.

Now I have ran into another issue. Gas smell blowing through the air vents combined with a strong exhaust smell from outside after driving the Jeep and turning off.
