Removing cap on 4x4 lever and shift lever

So I just finished painting the interior vents and grab bar, and my next project is the plastic caps on the auto trans shift lever and the 4x4 lever... How does one get these off?

just pop them off with a small screwdriver or trim tool

Hmm I tried that but I guess I didn't pry hard enough

Oh thanks! Any idea if the 4x4 lever comes off the same way?
