Question second guessing Duratrac 35's for my 3.5" lift..

just got my 3.5" lift in and planning on ordering up my 35's tomorrow. I have been dead set on 315/70r17 Duratracs but after reading some reviews, have found some people disappointed that the tire apparently runs noticeably smaller than other 35" tires. This concerns me a bit as i know a 3.5" is a fairly tall lift and i want the tires to look proportionally correct and not undersized (i realize that "undersized" is subjective based on personal preference)

Anyone running 35" Duratracs on a 3.5" lift and have pics?
Are they really that much smaller than other 35's?
Do you have any regrets due to the smaller size vs. other options (assuming thats fact)?

My jeep is 90% daily driver other than when i hit the woods for trailing with my buddies. I want a tire that looks aggressive, will fit a 3.5" lift well aesthetically, and will have good "on pavement" manners (drivability and wear). Lighter weight is important as i have 3.73 gears without funds to regear for a bit. My buddies do heavier wheeling than me and have MT tires on their 3.5" lifts (grapplers/MTRks/etc) so i haven't seen the 35" Duratracs or comparable in person to compare.

Any guidance is appreciated. thank you!

*FYI- I currently run the 285/70r17 duratracs (love them) on 17x8 ATX wheels (keeping wheels) and they measure out at 31.75" after ~25k miles. I'll be using the same wheels for the 35's

All tires run about 1"-11/4" smaller mounted.

This is my friends rubi with 3.5" AEV lift and 315 duratracs on stock 17" wheels. I think it looks really nice. He has since added bushwhacker flares and I think the tires look small now, but with stock flares they look great

My 315/75/16 (34.6") Duratracs on an 8.5" wide rim gave me right at 34" on the jeep, my lift is 3.5" over stock in the front, 3.25" in the rear

Thats good news, especially being that my wheel would be slightly narrower..
34" would be a great fit for a 3.5" lift IMO and exactly what i would hope for.

I don't expect a true 35 since i am staying away from the larger E rated MT's (toyos, TG's etc).....but it is when i read reviews of the Duratracs coming in at 3.5" and under that i get a bit concerned about that choice.

I am sticking with stock fenders, have stock bumpers (for now) and keep my tires between 32-35psi unless i am on the trails.

That is not true....it is completely dependent upon the weight on the tire, air pressure, width of the rim, and so forth. A tire mounted on a wider rim will not measure as tall as a narrow rim.

I really like mine. They perform on road as well as off. They are a practical choice.
