I'm thinking of switching to the old man emu 4 inch lift question. Does anyone have it and how does it do on and offroad ?

I don't have it, but had driven one. Good manners on & off road, good quality.

Take a look at the 3.5" Metal Cloak too, as it has more articulation.
The 3.5" is after adding the weight of bumpers, winch, etc'.

If you are putting them on a 2dr then prepare yourself for more then the advertised lift. A friend put them on his 4 dr and got about 5" of lift.

You can buy the lift for about 1600 bones I do believe .. .. I'm also doing research on other lifts to replace my RC lift ..

We have an OME lift on our 07 2-dr JK. I used the 3.5" lift, HD Unlimited springs as I knew we'd take it off road pretty often. This netted us exactly 4" of lift on our 2-dr. S pkg JK. We've had it installed for about 4 years and it has been trouble free. The highway ride is good and stable. Off road it's firm, but the articulation is good. Just so you have the whole picture...the 07 is an X model, but it was ordered with the electric locking diff and swaybar disconnect from the factory. Along with the basic OME kit, we installed Full Traction adjustable track bars front and rear. We also installed adjustable front upper control arms to get the caster back where it needs to be. We used the factory steering stabilizer for a long time and just recently replaced it with a Teraflex unit (no difference in performance or feel). We have 35" tires on it and we get a little rub under the fenders on full compression. This could be eliminated with a fender trim, but it doesn't bother us. The JK has a 10K winch and XRC bumper on the front and a XRC bumper with tire carrier on the back. This doesn't seem to impact the amount of lift. Overall, the OME lift has been a good choice for us. It went on easily and has allowed us to take the JK many places that we wouldn't have been able to go with a stock JK.

That's correct. No I just need to fork over the cash to get my winch finally to complete it.
