Default Rattle in tranny area

Hello everyone, I'm knew to this forum and was looking to see if anyone could help. I have an '07 2dr Wrangler 6sp manual and there seems to be a rattle coming from the tranny. Happens when accelerating and is most noticeable between 1500-2300rpm. I've checked heat shields, both on the headers and the cross member exhaust and doesn't look like its any of those. Any suggestions?

Thanks ahead of time for any help!!

You might want to check out 2013-jeep-jku-6-speed-transmission-noise.

You are describing the same problem I'm having with my 2013 6-speed, except mine started with 80 miles on the odo. IIRC you have the same transmission hooked up to your 3.8 that is hooked to my pentastar.

Hey Dave,
Thanks for the tip on that thread!! I think I fixes the issue with the noise or at least the majority of it! Turned out to be the xfer case shifter cable. Thanks again man

It was making this noise before the lift. After the lift the pitch of the sound has been the same. Before and after. Almost positive it a vibration.
