Knock under load
hey guys,
the last few weeks have been pretty nice weather wise, starting to warm up and I'm rolling with the windows down. noticed some knock from my jeep in the upper RPM and under load. I've tried 89 octane with octane booster ( so 90-91ish ) and i still heard knock , although improved over 87 octane.
mods are CAI, Dynomax Super turbo and throttle body. no tune. I'm going to assume its my throttle body, although I've had no issues with CEL. spark plugs? jeep has 56,000km on it. i also run 5-20 synthetic oil, just changed last week, i also added ethanol fuel treatment and injector lubricant before my oil change ( in separate tanks of course ).
