Question Can I re-gear on stock tires?

Tried looking around on teh forum, but didn't find an answer.

Can I re-gear to 5.13 on my auto 08 and run on my stock tires untill I can buy my 35" ?

Sure can. Rpm's will be higher but not a big deal. Unless you plan on a LOT of long distance high speed interstate driving before you get the 35's?

Plug some numbers into the chart in the faq's to get an idea of where you'll be.

Thanks!
I'm between tires and wheels first or gears.

Tires first. Just turn OD Off until you get around to gearing/locking/gusseting/etc.

I wouldn't want to drive around on 32's with 5:13's.
Do the tires first.

I did for about 6 months or so until I got the 35's. Not ideal for higher speed freeway, but much better than the undergeared stock gutlessness around town.
