Default 15" Rims on a 2008 JKU

so I want to run 15" rims with 35" tires on my '08 JKU with a 3.5" lift. i was wondering if i will have clearance issues with the smaller rim and my brake calipers? if anyone has ran 15's or currently running 15's with large tires please post pics as well as comments so i can get a visual of the combo on a JK. thank you, any help is appreciated.

You need to get the right wheels and it will work. Many alloys work, steeliness not so much. There's a thread on here somewhere from Discount Tire Direct on the wheels that they carry that fit. My wife has 15" MB TKOs with zero problems; I run 15" Black Rock Vipers.

Yup PM discount tire guy on here. He will give you a list of 15's that fit. I love mine. I also run the MB TKO's without the center caps.

Can't even always go by that. SOMETIMES steelies don't work. Sometimes they do. Case and point. 15" procomp series 98...STEEL. Not a single clearance issue with the calipers. As kh202 said. Contact discount tire direct and they'll help ya out.

Love my 15s...there's an entire 15" show off thread if you want to get more ideas.

I run 15" steel wheels on my JK and I love them! the tires are a ton cheaper and so are the wheels. I had to take a flap wheel to the brake caliper bracket to get them to fit just right. After a quick clearance, I can run them all day with no issues. It's been almost 2 years with them and they still run just fine. If you don't want to have to grind or do any clearance, then the thread on here is a great resource of what will and won't fit.

With 35" tires

With 33" tires

I hope this helps!

Discount tire will give you the list of 15" wheels that will work.

My setup is the 15" MB 72s with 33" Duratracs. Very happy
