Default Does anyone have any experience with the Black Box Logistics 50" DRX Led light bar?

I'm looking for a light bar for my JKU and saw the Black Box Industries 50" LED light bar. Does anyone have any recommendations on this light bar or others? Also, what mounting equipment is needed or recommended? Thanks

I'll make a short story long....I had a buddy who really loved ferraris, posters, keychain, you name it, he was a total fanboi. Needless to say, he couldn't afford one. So, he shopped around and found this cool kit car where you started with a Pontiac fiero, bought a kit, and converted it.
He ended up with a fiero that drove like crap, looked like crap, and it wasn't a Ferrari. Just because you can buy a rigid knock off, doesn't mean you should buy a rigid knock off.

I've got the 10" bar and it's great. Come on with the 'fanboy' hate, oh damn- must've forgot to mention that I've got dually's on the windshield. Also, dually d2's on my tj rubi. And.....a single flush mount dually on the back of my gti as a reverse light.

Apples to apples- look at the lumen output before you buy anything. It's no fiero but I didn't pay the ferrari price either.

The output is a tough pic to get as I don't have nice cameras but I'll give what I've got. The rigid's are floods and the 10" is a spot (I wanted some light down the road as well as in the ditch)

I've moved the light up from the first 2 pics to where it is in the 3rd pic and there's a noticeable difference- a lot more light down the road but it still projects quite a bit in front of the jeep.

Thanks for your input! I'm still weighing out the different brands, just noticed how much cheaper these were. I assumed there was a reason, just not sure what it is. Those look good though!

A few guys in one of the local clubs around here run those lights. One if the guys in the club sells them. They seem like decent lights for the price. I have never seen them side by side with a brand like rigid. But from what I saw they are pretty bright.

Ask yourself, how many times will you go off roading at night?

2 or 3 times a year? Buy Black Box or Lifetime LED.

If your a night owl and will use it all the time go Rigid.

Seriously the 50" is for looks, I had a 50" SR ridged on my last JK itlooks cool but hardly ever used it .

Spend your money on other useful mods .

Mine is on order from them... I ordered the 50" hybrid and will post pics after I get it installed.

I have a buddy that has the 20" and he said the quality is great and super bright.
