Default Driveshaft

Just got off the phone with the dealer, they are replacing my front drive shaft. I have a 2.5bb with 3/4 inch spacers on top to level it out, anyone else blow your front shaft with this set up? I didnt blow mine it wasnt vibrating or anything, I just noticed grease under there and they said the boot was ripped?? should I go ahead and plan on a JE Reel in the very near future or is this just a fluke??

plan on an upgrade. you may be able to find a stock used one on the cheap as a replacement until you want to spend the cash. as long as the dealer is replacing go that route, then get a used one, then the replacement (I always wait as long as possible, so I can spend the $$ on more pressing mods)

Do you have an auto trans? I've heard that they're prone to catching and ripping the boot and/or clamp on the edge of the pan.
