Default Did I go wrong somewhere when lifting my jeep!

As I sit here and read all the forums and posts. I keep thinking I went with the wrong lift. My ultimate question would be is there a need to worry, or did I do ok? If I didn't, then is there any way to salvage my money/jeep?

Being part of a dealership I know the service department, the mechanics and all the jeep reps. I was told that if I went with the mopar lift I wouldn't void my warranty. Well since I'm friends with the people who make the warranty work, I have yet to have problems with getting things covered.

I went with the 4" mopar lift. I have cut my stock fenders, went to 37's (love them but on the freeway around 70mph she still wants to stay in 4th gear) not that big of deal because its only about 200 to 300 rpm difference. I have changed our the control arms (since the mopar lift didn't come with adjustable ones and the stock ones were pretty weak looking) also have trimmed all pinch seems and rock rail.

I haven't had any problems, just want to wheel hard and don't want to think maybe It could be different with the coil over bolt on system or maybe something totally different. Also, I've torn both drive line boots, but other than that I haven't had any problems.

Just looking for advice and seeing if I'm headed in the right directions, or what to do next.

I plan on gusseting and sleeping the axles, once that's done, then what? I want to be set up!

Thanks in advanced!

No I haven't gone to any other gears. I thought about running 4.88 or even 5.13 but thought they might be overkill

The only thing about freeway driving is, ok yes when I make a few trips here and there but highway like 55 it's easy. Gets amazing mileage and lacks no power. It's just when I'm up around the 70 plus range (the wife says, "well maybe you shouldn't be driving that fast?!" But what does she know ha)

On the new 2012-2013 Auto tranny this is not true. Depending on what you primaryly use your jeep for, 5.13 would be the highest ratio I'd go for a good final drive ratio. What are you currently running for gears?

Mopar generally rebrands different manufacturer lifts. Depends what lift it is.

I see you have a Rubi so I am assuming you have 4.1's. I think you can actually get the 3.73 if you forget to check that option on your build sheet.

Did you have the dealership adjust your speedometer for the larger tires or use an AEV procal? That could be throwing your transmission off.

I would think a 2012+ JK with 4.1's wouldn't be that bad with 37's

I agree you should get C-Gussets... though I would probably just get truss's instead of sleeves.
