Default 32's.......too small?

First I would like to introduce myself, I have actually been on the boards for a while..."lurking"...hehe. Anyway, I'm Dave, just bought an '07 JK X and I'm ready to start my mods!

My question: Would 32's be "smallish" after a 2.5" BB lift? I like the "athletic" look where the tires aren't stuffed all the time. I already have the lift ordered, it's on it's way. Can't decide on the 32's or 33's.

Anyone running 32's with the 2.5 BB lift? I have gained sooooo much information from this site, it is amazing. I wear the "search" function out. I can't, however, figure out how to search for 32's or the like becuase it says it's not a correct phrase.

I'm looking at 32x11.50x15's. BFG's. Rolling on some 15x8 Cragar's.

Thanks.

Dave.

I have 33's on my Rubicon with a 2" BB, and I think they look small.

Here's my 08 with 32's and a 2" BB. I think they are alittle small. When possible I will go with 34s or 35s.

I've got 32's on mine with the 2.5 Teraflex BB. I don't mind the look, but when these tires need to be replaced, I'll probably go with 33's.

Very nice. I didn't figure to see that much room with 33's. I guess 33's are the way to go for me then .

I must have had my sizes off. It had to be 35's I was thinking about. 33's will be perfect.

Thanks for the quick reply guys. This place kicks TOO much a$$.

I just did the 2.5 Teraflex with 33x12.5 on the stock moab 17's. I wish I went with a 35...but the 33's are just fine. My problem is that the 33 looks smallish on a 17 and nice and fat on a 15 so it is messing with my head. When you go to do the deed have them put the 33 and the 32 next to each other and you'll find that the difference isn't huge. Go with the 33's, good street manners but still performs well on the trail. I'd send a pic but I can figure out how. I"ll send you a pm with a pic so you can see the setup.

I think you'll be happy with a narrower 33inch tire. It'll give you the "Wheel well" filling look, without looking too bulky (with super wide tires)

33's will fit just fine on a 2.5 lift. Do 15" wheels fit without grinding on the rotors?
