Default MatalCloak 2.5" Springs or RK 2.5" Springs

Currently im running Teraflex 2.5" springs with Bilstein 5100s. Ive been wanting to go with a different spring so when i add bumpers and such i wont have sagging issues, especially in the front since thats where the majority of people have issues.

Anyone have any experience with the metalcloak 2.5" dual rate springs? How do they ride, etc? I have Bilstein 5100s for 2-3.5" lift and also wondering if i got them would i need to get longer shocks or the ones i have work fine (dont really have the money for both now).

Ive also been considering going with the RK 2.5" springs or just there front springs paired with the synergy rear springs so both are progressive rate. Ive heard of people doing this but no real reviews. Can anyone help me out here. Ill eventually get a xrc or other stubby fron bumper and surely put a winch and also a rear bumper with tire carrier with 35" tire.

I started out with the tf 2.5 but ditched the front springs for rk 2.5's. The progressive rate spring is so much better.
In these pics im running 2.5 rk front springs and the tf rears, bilsteins for a 4" lift up front, 2" rear. Front lower spring retainers and rear upper and lower spring retainers. EVO rock stars, 2.5" rear bumpstop and 2" front but im going to relocate my front lower shock mounts so I can run less bump to stuff the tire more. Stock wheels with 1.5" spidertrax spacers and 37" bfg km2's.

Never ran TF springs, but I've been running the RK 2.5s for about 25K miles now and have no complaints. I've even added lots of weight, including front & rear bumpers, GenRight tire carrier, 37" spare, etc. and my springs have yet to sag at all. Total lift equated to about 3" after install, which is probably typical of all 2.5" lifts. No experience with the Metal Cloak, so I can't really comment on them, but those people that do run them seems to be happy with them. Don't think you could really go wrong either way.

Thank you, I have the same components as you but I sold my tf front upper bumpstops. Front lower bumpstops are better cuz if the spring catches on the bump stop just right, it usually pulls them out. Then they will be just sitting on the spring perch. You should maybe get some 2" bumpstops that bolt to the lower perch,rk sells them or buy 4,6oz. Hockey pucks which are a 1"thick and put 2 on each side

Alright so let me add some more info. Ive been thinking about the RK for a while now so thats why i mentioned them. But i also wanted a progressive rear which i think Synergy has so thats why i mentioned them. The only reason im considering metalcloak is that there is someone selling a $300 gift card to them for $150 so if i did that and resold my teraflex then i would really only be out $50 on some better springs, but i just cant find too much info on people running their springs with other shocks and also what size shocks i will need. I know im good with the shocks i have for RK and synergy but dont know about metalcloak

I don't have any experience with either one of them, but if you are considering the Metal Cloak 2,4" and Rock Krawler 2,5" coils, then the shocks you have now will work on them. Give Metal Cloak a call, they are very helpful. Just remember that the valving of the shocks for YOUR Jeep and coils are a gig part of how it will ride.
