Question Brake problem after lift install

Two weeks ago, I installed a Black Magic very large brake kit. Install went fine and the braked worked great. Yesterday, I installed a Metal Cloak lift. As part of that, I installed new brake lines and bled the lines. When I bleed the lines with the Jeep off, the pedal is very firm; however, when I turn the Jeep on, the pedal goes to the floor. I have bled the brakes 3 times and dont see any air or leaks. What is causing this? Any help is appreciated.

Did the brake kit come with a larger master cylinder?

I am guessing you will need a larger master. The pedal probably feels fine when the rig is not running because the brake booster does not give you any assist but once you have the assist you need to move more fluid. Between having the longer lines and having larger calipers your master has a longer stroke before it actually moved the pistons. If you get a larger master it should clear this up.

PM us if you would like a quote one.

Yeah but he said the brake kit worked great until he installed a lift with braided lines. So something changed with lift install

I'd bleed the brakes again, there's air in there somewhere.
