Default Lift ?

I have a 07 JK and I'm running the rubicon express 2.5 coil lift on 35. My dad has the rubicon express 2 inch budget boot. He is getting ride of that kit and moving up. My ? Is can I run the 2 inch spacers on my kit for some added hight or no? Any help would be good.

Open the faq's at the top of this modified area and browse the suspension section.

The quick answer is: yes, you can add spacers on top of your coils.
The longer answer is: yes, but are your brake lines long enough? Are your links long enough? Are your shocks long enough? Do you have enough bumpstop? Do you have a way of adjusting your caster? Are you still running stock driveshafts? Have you looked into steering correction? (flip, hi steer, drop pitman & brackets). etc, etc...

Thanks ya I'm new to this. I have shocks and stock drive shaft. It's a everyday vehicle don't do to much off road. So everything is stock besides the lift kit and shocks. My main thing is the drive shaft I don't have to change that out do I?

I believe you would be ok as long as you never offroad, other wise it new driveshaft or at least exhaust spacers(2012+).

The other question is whether it is an auto or manual. JK have super thick driveshafts that give you clearance problems when lifting your vehicle. Usually its the front driveshaft that gives you the most problems with 2 and 4 dr JK's, however sometimes with the 2 dr it also requires a rear driveshaft swap.

Ya it's a auto. It drives great now just didn't know how high I could go before I have to replace it. Like I said I have 2.5 coils and I might just put on the 2 inch spacers also so hope it works lol.

Well dont really know about your year of Jk but for mine a 3.5" Rough Country on the Deep Cherry Red Sport pictured at the left, required no driveshaft change but, it did require exhaust spacers and spacers on the front of the skid plate to clear.
