Default Synergy Drag Link Too Long???

I've been running a synergy drag link in the stock postion for a month or two now. I had terrible bump steer due to my lift so I added a trackbar bracket and decided to do the drag link flip. I drilled my knuckle and used synergy's insert but the drag link is now too long. I've run out of adjustment and can't make it any shorter so now my steering wheel is off over half a turn. Anyone got any ideas? I've messed with this thing until i'm blue in the face and have pretty much destroyed the grease boots from taking it off and on so many times.

Stock pitman arm, or the drop that came with the lift?

Can you get creative with removing the drag link, turning the steering wheel the opposite direction, then reconnecting and lengthening?

Stock pitman arm. I tried to do that but when I did I could only turn left about one revolution. Apparently the steering box itself has a limit left and right not just the steering stops on the spindle. I thought about pulling the steering wheel but the clock spring is keyed and won't allow that. Other than cutting the drag link I'm stumped.

I've seen two things happen.
- drop pitman arm still installed
- something screwed up with the splines/sector shaft (twisted ?)

It's definently the stock pitman arm. I broke two pullers trying to get it off with no success. As far as I can tell everything in the steering shaft is undamaged and tight. The only thing I should note is the front end is drooping probably a good two inches lower than the rear. I don't have a rear bumper yet or a rear seat. I have a heavy smitybilt stinger front bumper so the front is sitting pretty low. I assume this could affect this but I wouldn't think that much. I have some teraflex leveling coil spacers that came off before the lift I was thinking about installing, but I was wanting to wait until I put my tire carrier on and stuff to see how much it levels out. I wil get some pics of my steering components this afternoon.

I just installed my Synergy drag link with my stock pitman arm and had no issues. I also have a drag link flip kit. As far as waiting for a rear bumper to see how your jeep levels out, I can assure you that a new bumper will not have the rear sit two inches lower. Just add about 100 lbs to the back of you jeep and see how much it sags, which should give you an indication before installing your rear bumper. I would jack up the front bumper about two inches and see if that corrects the problem. If so, then install the coil spacers.

Measure it at the shortest position and give poly a call to verify the length? Maybe yours has a manufacturing defect that doesn't allow it to fully contract.
