Default 31x10.5x15 on a 2013 JK

So I have done quite a bit of research on tire sizes and I think I like the 31x10.5x15's. What is everyone thoughts on downsizing the wheel size on the JK (but increasing the tire size)? I have a stock 2013 JK with almost embarrassing 29" stock tires, but the wheel size is 16. I feel kind of awkward taking the 16's off and throwing on smaller 15's.

I just like the tire to wheel ratio and I'm nervous about getting too big of a tire without a lift. Also worried about voiding my factory warranty with extra large tires.

Thoughts?

By the way, I'm new to the site and new to the Jeep world.

Thanks!

I would at least go 32's. That is the stock size on the 17" rim Jeeps. You could still go with 15's but just a larger tire.

I did what you're looking at- 15's and 31's with zero issues with the dealership. I really liked it but would go to a 33 if I were to start again. No problems with the 31's and they "appear" larger since they're on a smaller wheel.

Thanks. I like the duratracs (just like most people on this forum) and the next size up on 15's is a 33. I don't want to go 33. So if I went to 32's I'd get the 16 wheel which I wouldn't mind. The problem is that I'm not sure what metric size that is and I don't think I've ever seen that combination. Again, I'm kinda new at this. Any chance someone has photos with a 32x16 no lift and no spacers?

What is the metric size 32 on the stock 17's?

Are those the 31x10.5x15 in the photo? Nice looking jeep, btw.

Are there any spacers?

I'm not sure I would want to go 33 from what I have been reading -- some have rubbing issues, which I want to avoid. I'm not doing any off road. The biggest I'd go is 32 I think - just having trouble finding the right combination of wheel to tire.

Jeeps come stock with 32's. No reason to go atleast that big or 33's. With aftermarket wheels with 4.5 or less back spacing, you'd be just fine

15's make tires pretty cheap tho and he'd save in the long run.

Yeah, I definitely like the idea of 15's, but I can't find a 32x15 tire. It seems they all jump from 31 to 33.
