Default Wheels JK 08

Sorry for my english ... I try to read the all forum for my question, but i'm not sure to find the answer ...
I got a 4 doors JK ... whit the air control on tires .... and I would like to change the wheels and tires (M/T Baja MTZ) with Pro Comp wheels, and I like to keep the original tires with the original wheels to drive on hightway during holidays in southFrance.
My question : what is the problem if I drive without the air control on the Pro Comp wheels ? only a light on the board control ? any problem with the electronic ???

If you please, give the answer with simple word car "technical" word are not easy for me !!!

Thanks.

Stéphan

You would only have the light and a chime when you start the engine.

You would be fine driving without the air sensors.

The air sensors you are talking about are called TPMS sensors. Searching under TPMS may help you out some.

TPMS stands for Tire Pressure Monitoring System. Because they are english words, I'm sure they aren't called TPMS in France.

Hope this helps.

All you'll have is the light and chime. Like Utahgoose said, search for TPMS, a few people found a way to get the light to turn off I believe.
