Default 15 inch rim question

I have searched, and researched this a good bit. I know a 15 will fit. Some slight grinding on the brake caliper maybe required. I'm trying to eliminate that if i can. I've read a 15 with 3.75 backspacing will fit fine. But i just wanted to make sure and run it by everyone.

http://www.procompusa.com/prodDetail...21&plID=100348 i found these and just wanted to get everyones impression.

Thanks ahead of time for the help!

Steelies may rub the calipers at 15", alloys usually wont with that backspace.

X2. The other thought you need to have is, will the tierod fit if you upgrade later.

I can tell you from a thread I started awhile ago that most answers people give are based of what they heard, but haven't done.

I ended up with wheel spacers to clear the 15" alloy wheels. Without the synergy tierod would rub.

My hubs clear just fine with 15s alloys with the stock components.

Friend of mine just put those on his 07 JKU with zero clearance issues. No grinding required. Pro comp 98, 15x8"

Glad to see more jeeps liking sidewall instead of 18-20" wheels

Running 15x8 w/ 3.75" backspace alloys.

The thing with stamped steel is the flange depth varies. After market tie rods and bigger caliper brakes are cons with15s.
35" tires are my max, so I'm good. If your thinking of going 37+ then a 17" may be a better choice.

I did it both ways. I had factory 18" wheels with 33" Duratracs on them and then went to 15s with 35s.
