Default Poison Spyder Crusher Corner cutting tool needed?? Angle grinder, etc...

Hey guys.. Need your help here.. I don't have air tools so I'm going to need to do this with electric. What is the tool of choice to cut out the taillight part when installing the Poison Spyder Crusher corners?? Angle grinder?? any particular brand?? which is the best wheel to use? I have plenty of mechanical skills just a little shy to bust out with cutting my new jeep up... And for those nutserts I have already purchased the bad boy 325RN install tool.. Any and all help would be appreciated..

The sheet metal is thin and cutting tool should work. A die grander is best for control and speed but requires a compressor. Ask around to see if a local Jeeper has these tools available. You can do it yourself just measure carefully and cut slowly. Any mistakes will be covered by the corner so don't be too worried just stay away from the areas where the nutserts are.

First off, I have not installed those corners or cut into my tub, but

I've found Harbor Freight to be a good source of tools that I will only use once or twice. I just picked up a 3" electric cut off tool to cut a few pieces of metal for mods to a trailer. It was $19.99 with a coupon. It may be a good option for you and would probably work a little better than an angle grinder.

Thanks guys.. Sounds like a plan!! I know I probably won't use it much so harbor freight sounds like a good plan. I spent the good money on the nutsert tool which I'll be using on all the armor, rockers, corners. Etc.

I have a 10# air tank in my JK. I went and picked up a $30 die grinder at Harbor Freight. I was able to do all the install cutting on my corners with air left in the tank. FYI

Just a thought.
