Default 4.5 lift and drive shaft ?

hi i am installing a bds 4.5 lift on a 4 door automatic. i was wondering if i had to change the drive shaft ? i guess it would be a good idea just wondering if you had to ? i wont be doint any extreme off roading if that makes a difference ? thanks for the help

Have to? No. However, if you don't, you will need to remove your auto tranny skid plate or at the very least, have it trimmed in order to prevent your front drive shaft boot from making contact with it and tearing it.
