Default body lift....rear bumper issue

I installed the rough country 1.25" body lift they other day. I love it, anyway, when I unbolted the stock brackets from the bumper, it took the entire casting out of my bumper. In other words, there is just a hole in the bumper with nothing for the screws to grab now.

Anyone have this issue pop up? It only happened in the driver side. So right now the driver side has no support whatsoever.

If you guys don't understand what I'm trying to say I could get some pics.

I think I know what you're talking about. The thing that holds the threads in the bumper came out? Not much you can do. Start gluing lol

Yes, exactly lol it's like a gold looking piece that came right out still attached to the screws lol I can't even get it off the screws.

Idk how to fastened that side now, it has slight droop from not being attached. Lol I had a crazy idea to fill the whole with something that would dry rock hard and then screwing the bolt into it....

That whole bumper is hollow, might be (un)screwed. Doesn't each side have 4 bolts?? Should be ok with one less. In fact, I chopped mine and its only held on by 2 bolts lol. Could just run with bumper less look

There are 6 bolts I believe, two on each side and two in the middle. Only 3 threads stayed in the bumper, one of the passenger side, two in the middle. I mean it's not going anywhere but I'm so anal about it. I know that small gap would be more flush with a atleast one bolt on the driver side lol I can't run without a bumper, you know my baby is 99.5% street queen haha

Try the freebie section, I bet you could find someone giving away a take off stock bumper.
