Default 33's on 15'' wheels

Will I have to re-gear? I have a 2007 4 door with the 3.8. Thinking about some 33s with 15''wheels If I have to what is the recommended gearing?

33s will be fine on your stock gearing. Spending $1000-1500 for a gear install doesn't seem worth it to me unless you step up to 35s. What gears do you have now?

Yup X2. Some people make it out to be worse than it actually is

Yeah you'll be fine... just make sure your 15's fit the JK - some do, some don't.

Really? That's why I'm going to the 15s bc my stock don't work all that great with my Synergy upgrade( tie rod assembly ) I have rubbing in the driver side wheels and don't want to go the spacer route. Thx

Let me jump in, I'm playing on switching mine tires to 35/12.5/17.

Should I be planing on switching gears?

I drive a 2013 sport 2 door

Really that's why I'm trying to upgrade. I upgraded my tie rod assembly to Synergy and my driver side wheels are getting chewed up. I don't want to go the spacer route.

Depends if you have auto or manual, and what gears you have. I have a 2012 Sport with 3.21's, manual and 35's and it ain't too bad, just don't expect to use 6th gear. 5th gear is a perfect rpm range on highway. I still tow my bass boat with it too That being said, slow crawling offroad will have you stalling a bit more often. But a 4:1 transfercase solved that problem for me
