Default 35's and 37's How tall to roof?

Hello everyone. I am finally getting to the point where I can start modding my '12 JKU. I would like to run the RK 2.5 max travel, no body lift with 37's, front and rear bumpers and rock sliders. Hopefully some of you with similar set ups can help.

How tall is the Jeep from the ground to the highest point of the roof on a hard top with 35's and 37's? I am assuming this will be in the rear. I want to run 37's, but I still want to fit in the garage.

If your running 37s maybe a rubicon would be a good choice just for the stronger gears and ring and pinion

What's the hight of the garage your trying to fit in? There are ways make it work if 37s is what you want.

1,930.4 millimeters on 37's.

But no, really - it's about 76" if I remember correctly.

Axle upgrades are on the list as well. I think it would be hard to turn 37's with 3.21's. I dont crawl much. Most of my stuff is backwoods and dirt road/deer lease. I have read through a bunch of threads about guys running d30 up front on 37's for what I do without much issue (after stregth mods). Most of the issues come when excessive wheel spin and bouncing is involved...from what I have read.

I will have to see when I get home. Just bought the house and still unpacking. I like the LCG functionality. Make them work as in on the Jeep or fitting in the garage?

That will definitely be a pita to go on the freeway or anywhere, just a suggestion, 4:10 or higher would be highly recommended

Gears are planned as well. Depends probably going with 4.56's if 37's fit. 4.10's if I have to stick with 35's.

Mine measures 77 1/2" with a 3.5" RE lift, Nitto 37" tires, and hardtop installed. That said, my tires have an actual measurement of 35" at half tread.

Both. Make it fit in the garage and 37s on the jeep.
If your limited in your garage hight and think you can fit with 35s then 37s are only going to add 1" to the over all hight. So you could put 37s on with a shorter lift and do some fenders to open up the wheel wells and come out close to the same hight as 35s.
My Teraflex 4" lcg and 37" tires measures at 78" at the highest point. when I put my nemesis fenders on it opened up the wheel wells on the jeep. I could easily put 38s on and get the same up travel as my 37s with stock fenders.

Measure your garage and it would help to determine what lift and tire size you can do.
