Looking into buying a Teraflex 2.5" budget boost. If I buy this with a stock jeep lift, will I need to get different shocks? Or can I use stock shocks

 

You would need the kit that comes with shock adapters/ extensions if you want to use the stock shocks

 

You can use the stock shocks, but you will lose downtravel. That lift comes in several different versions, why not get the one that includes shock extensions?

 

+1 get the kit with stock extensions if you want to keep stock shocks.

 

Check the for sale section- there's one for sale now with shocks. You'll get the most out of the kit if you go with new shocks instead of just the extensions. That's all up to your budget though- it's the same amount of work either way and possibly even a little easier to just bolt up longer shocks than the brackets and old shocks (I've done both ways....multiple times)
