Default Rancho control arm drop brackets - are they just a myth??

I was looking to pick up the Rancho drop brackets as they look a bit better than the AEV. Supposedly, they have been available for a few months. No one stocks them and so far, no one has orders in to stock them. Anyone heard what the story is with them?

I tried calling Rancho, but all that did was get me the option for a catalog...

Are these what you're referring to? - Rancho RS6250B - RANCHO® Control Arm Bracket for 07-14 Jeep® Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK with 3-4" Lift - Quadratec

The "boxed" design of these, as supposed to the AEV ones, are considered to be stronger. While I run an AEV lift, and it serves it purpose, I will say that I've seen these brackets in person. Compared to the AEV ones, side by side (not installed on the jeep) - just visually, they look more stout.

Selling mine in a week if you're in the market...they were great but moving on to a full set of adjustable control arms.

I think kjeeper10 (Ken, I hunk that's his handle) has them on his JK. Put them in recently and seemed pleased.
