Default non rubi rear dana 44 what shafts?

building up the rear axle for my jeep. I am currently on 35's with a stock non rubi rear D44. When I add the ARB locker I want to upgrade the shafts for 37's down the road.

So what spline count in cro-mo shaft is needed to run 37's

30spline? or should I upgrade to 35 splines?

Also if I only ever go as big as a 37" tire...would I need to reinforce the housing with a truss or sleeve? or is that size tire fine to leave the housing as is?

I've snapped rear shafts with 37s....

Went ten factory they have 10yr warranty on flanges and breakage....I've slapped these in all 3 jk's and proceeded to beat on em....

I was 30 spline on last 2 and locked I'm 32 spline on my Rubicon ....

Have had no issues with 30 spline chromoly but if you can saint the 35 spoken set up do it, its just added safety of not you will still be fine with 30.

Also is it necessary to truss or sleeve the rear axle housing for running 37's?

I am still waiting for some replies on 30sp rear shafts. The literature on the various sites is confusing. For most of them, I have found two different grades of metal for the exact same part numbers, and contradictory information on single/dual bolt patterns as well.

Alloy USA - 4140 and 4340
Ten Factory - 1541H and 4140
G2 - 1541 and 4140
Nitro - 4130
Yukon - 1541H on website (phone call indicates I can choose which I want, the downside for their shafts is that they are not cut to length)

In another thread on this, Northridge indicated that Ten Factory uses chromolly and not 1541H, (which brut4ce seems to back up in his post), but I am still trying to figure out how to verify that. How do I know that what is shipped to me is actually 4140 and not 1541h?
